A

A/B testing layoutsReports
A/B testing compares two layouts, planograms or displays under equivalent conditions to decide which performs better before rolling it out.
Aisles directionShoppermotion AI
Aisles direction shows, for every aisle, the share of shoppers entering from each end and the share turning into it from the main aisle.
Angle of Arrival (AoA)Technology
Angle of Arrival is a Bluetooth 5.1 positioning method where antenna arrays measure the angle of a tag's signal to compute its position with sub-metre accuracy.
AoA anchors and gatewaysTechnology
AoA anchors (locators) are ceiling-mounted antenna arrays that receive tag signals; gateways forward their data to the positioning engine.
Ask Shoppermotion AIShoppermotion AI
Ask is the assistant in Shoppermotion AI that answers questions about your stores in plain language, with the numbers, a chart and a suggested next step.
Attribution modelsRetail Media
Attribution models decide how credit for a sale is shared between touchpoints: first-touch, last-touch, linear and time-decay are the most common.

B

Best windowsShoppermotion AI
Best windows are the days and hours when a category has the most engaged shoppers with the right mission: the best moments to activate it.
BI integrationsTechnology
Shoppermotion connects out of the box with Microsoft Power BI and Tableau, and delivers periodic reports to each stakeholder.
BLE tagsTechnology
BLE tags are small Bluetooth Low Energy beacons fixed to trolleys, baskets, assets or wearables so they can be located by AoA anchors.
Blind spotsMetrics
Blind spots are areas of the store that few trips reach or that shoppers cross without stopping, often invisible when you only look at sales.
Bounce rateMetrics
Bounce rate is the share of shoppers who enter a category or aisle and leave it without slowing down to look at any product.

C

Category benchmarksReports
Category benchmarks rank each category against its own history and against the same category in similar stores, regions and formats.
Category PulseShoppermotion AI
Category Pulse puts every category on a traffic × conversion matrix and shows its physical funnel, exposing the shelves that attract but do not convert.
Clicks (in-store)Retail Media
An in-store click is a shopper who, after viewing an ad, walks into the category or bay where the promoted product is displayed.
Conversion funnelReports
The physical conversion funnel follows shoppers from passing a category to looking at it, engaging with it and buying from it.
Correlation matrixReports
The correlation matrix shows which categories are visited in the same trip, revealing cross-selling pairs and the best places for secondary displays.
Customer flowMetrics
Customer flow maps the routes shoppers follow through the store: where they go first, which direction they take in each aisle and where flows split or merge.

D

Data privacy and GDPRTechnology
Shoppermotion tracks shopping tools, not people: no cameras, no apps and no personal data, with data encrypted in transit and at rest.
DeploymentTechnology
A store is usually live within hours: anchors are installed, tags are fitted, the layout is calibrated and data starts flowing the same day.
Dwell timeMetrics
Dwell time is how long shoppers stay in a zone, category or bay, measured from the moment they enter it until the moment they leave.

E

End caps performanceReports
End caps performance compares every gondola end by traffic penetration, time to visit, engagement and sales lift.
EngagementReports
Engagement is the share of shoppers who stop (below 25 cm/s) in front of a bay, category or display out of all who passed it.

F

Flyers and promotions ROIReports
Flyers and promotions ROI measures the incremental sales and return of each promotion, flyer page or circular placement, beyond aggregated sales.

H

HeatmapsMetrics
A heatmap paints the store floor plan by how much time shoppers spend in each spot, so the busiest and the most ignored areas are visible at a glance.

I

Impressions (in-store)Retail Media
An in-store impression is a shopper passing within the visibility radius of a screen, end cap or display while it shows the ad.
In-store rate cardRetail Media
The in-store rate card lists every media placement with its verified audience (impressions, OTS, views) and a suggested weekly price.
In-store Retail Media NetworkRetail Media
An in-store Retail Media Network sells the store's screens, end caps and displays to brands, with audiences and results measured like digital media.
Incremental sales and upliftRetail Media
Incremental sales are the extra sales caused by a campaign, measured by comparing exposed shoppers with a comparable group that was not exposed.

J

Journeys & BasketsShoppermotion AI
Journeys & Baskets links the anatomy of each trip (zones, stops, duration) with the matched ticket to reveal missions, pairs and basket building.

M

Main aisleMetrics
The main aisle is the central corridor that distributes shoppers into the store; it concentrates most promotional space and a large share of impulse purchases.
Missed opportunitiesReports
Missed opportunities are trips that engaged with a bay, hesitated and left without buying from it, ranked by category, hour and store.
MQTT feedTechnology
The MQTT feed publishes live XY positions and device status to a private broker, for applications that need data the moment it happens.

O

Occupancy and densityMetrics
Occupancy is the number of shoppers in store at any moment; density is that number per square metre in a zone.
Offline attributionRetail Media
Offline attribution connects exposure to in-store media with what shoppers actually buy, by matching each path with its ticket.
Opportunity to see (OTS)Retail Media
Opportunity to see is the share of store trips that pass a placement's visibility area, used to compare and price in-store inventory.

P

Planogram performanceReports
Planogram performance tracks traffic, engagement, dwell and conversion for each planogram (PoG) and follows every change over time.
Positioning accuracyTechnology
Shoppermotion locates tags with sub-metre accuracy, enough to know which bay a shopper stopped at, not just which aisle.
Power hoursMetrics

Purchase speedReports
