BLE tags
BLE tags are small Bluetooth Low Energy beacons fixed to trolleys, baskets, assets or wearables so they can be located by AoA anchors.
In retail
Tags are fitted discreetly to shopping tools, not given to shoppers. They identify a trolley or basket, never a person, and last for years on a coin battery.
In RTLS projects
Any AoA-compatible Bluetooth 5.1 tag can be used, from asset tags to badges and wristbands, for maximum flexibility.
