Occupancy and density
Occupancy is the number of shoppers in store at any moment; density is that number per square metre in a zone.
Real-time capacity
Because every shopping tool is located in real time, Shoppermotion knows how many trips are active in the store and in each zone. Alerts can be sent by email or SMS when a capacity limit or a density threshold is reached.
Uses
Capacity control, queue prevention, staffing and safety. The same data feeds the forecasting models that anticipate traffic peaks before they happen.
