Shoppermotion is transforming physical retail with proprietary positioning technology that helps brands and retailers understand in-store shopper behaviour in real time. Insights are extracted without any shopper interaction, anonymously and passively. We already deliver analytics to some of the largest FMCG and retail companies in the world, and we aim to become the leading analytics platform for physical retail.
We were looking for a lead full-stack engineer to help us grow, with a path to VP of Engineering as the team grows, reporting directly to the CTO and CEO.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new functionality together with the product and sales teams
- Shape the evolution of our infrastructure: scaling, continuous delivery and redundancy
- Learn the platform at a founder level and lead the development team
- Take part in hiring new technical profiles
- Design data models and APIs and implement pixel-perfect UIs
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-stack JavaScript. Ruby on Rails is a plus.
- Python, Scala or MongoDB experience is a plus
- Team management experience
- Good communication skills in English
